Loving Care for New Parents
Your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum or adoption needs are unique. They should be attended to with mindfulness, flexibility, wisdom, and respect.
I have provided nurturing physical, social, and emotional support to families in the Bay Area for the last four decades. I am prepared to attend to your family's needs during your transitions into becoming parents. I enjoy and feel privileged to be working with a broad diversity of family styles.I can help you cope with the changes and challenges that pregnancy or the adoption process brings. Preparing for parenthood, and exploring the possibilities of child-welcoming with presence and imagination can be supported. During and after your child arrives, whether by birth, adoption or some combination, I can take care of you while you learn to take care of your child. Becoming a parent is wondrous and often difficult. New parents have to balance self-care with caring for a new family member and managing other relationships in their lives. Everyone benefits from support.Consultation Services

“Esther’s care was a godsend, from the prenatal visits right through the postpartum period. It did more than just nurture me as a new mother — I think it set the tone for us as a reconfigured family. Our baby daughter’s had a great beginning, and so have we.”
– Julie, new mother
“Esther kept me and my husband focused and sane from start to finish. She knew when to sit back and let us do our thing, and when we needed guidance or hands-on help. She taught me how to breastfeed and care for my baby. She took care of everything when we got home, so we could rest and get to know our new daughter. Even my mom kept saying how lucky we were to have her.”
– Doris, new mother
"When Esther didn’t hesitate to wipe my wife’s butt, I thought to myself, this is worth every penny."
- Mike, second-time dad
